Some Banks Do Good

Like the Spanish (Sorry – Catalonian) bank Banco Sabadell who organized this wonderful “flashmob” outside of their branch as part of a campaign, in celebration of the banks 130th year of business and as a tribute to the city from which the bank originates.

The cynic inside me goes “Someone has a good marketing/PR department” while the idealist and romantic inside me goes “Ah, how wonderful and marvelous to do this to the greater public – maybe it’s not all about money”. I cannot honestly tell which side is more wrong or right…

Still there is no denying that this is an efficent and touching way to bring a bank closer to it’s customers… Right?
