1: Suitably titled BAMF of the Day (The Daily What) is about Team X-T.R.E.M.E who competed in the Spartan Heroes Heat, and more specifically one team member who is a double amputee and how he competed alongside some serious competition. Look at the picture and you’ll understand exactly how inspiring this is.

2: Award-Winning Manga Author Opens Up His Work To Be Used By ‘Anyone, Anywhere, For Anything,’ Royalty-Free – Techdirt. And it’s no soft-hitter this manga author, it’s Shuho Sata, creator of a well-known manga.

3: This might be a bit outdated newswise but it’s relevant all the same; NYPD officers were the ones who caused the wounding of several bystanders during the Empire State Building shooting that occured last week. You can read about it here too.
